The 2040 Kern County General Plan update is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of Kern County. Through this process, the County and residents, landowners, businesses, and resource agencies will consider many pertinent topics, including transportation, mobility, housing, environmental justice, healthy communities, and others to ensure Kern County is positioned to achieve its vision for the future.

As the update progresses, this website will be your primary source of information and will provide access to all materials related to the process, including documents developed, meeting dates and times, and other information.
